AES supports the government boiler upgrade scheme (BUS), offering customers £7500 toward the cost of their new installation.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the BUS, each customer must meet the following criteria:
- Property Location: The property must be in England or Wales.
- Property Type: Existing homes and non-domestic buildings are eligible. New-build properties, except for self-builds, are generally not eligible.
- Heating System: The grant must be used to replace an existing fossil fuel heating system (e.g., oil, gas, or electric). Hybrid heat pump systems are not eligible.
- Energy Performance Certificate (EPC): A valid EPC is required.
